Updated Accreditation Standards for Hospitals: Patient and Facility Safety Standards Simplified to Three Aspects

In 2022, the Minister of Health (“Minister”) introduced Decree No. HK.01.07/MENKES/1128/2022 (“Decree 1128/2022”) on Hospital Accreditation Standards (“Accreditation Standards”) which, as its title suggests, has been used as a reference during the implementation and organization of hospital accreditation.[1] In this regard, it should be noted that the various Accreditation Standards outlined under Decree 1128/2022 were briefly summarized in the following edition of Indonesian Legal Brief (“ILB”): “Minister of Health Introduces Hospital Accreditation Standards”.
