HPE and Reference Prices for Agricultural and Forestry Products Issued for October 2024

The Minister of Trade ("Minister") has issued Decree No. 1329 of 2024 ("Decree 1329/2024") on Export Benchmark Prices (Harga Patokan Ekspor – "HPE") and Reference Prices for Agricultural and Forestry Products Subject to Export Duty, which will be applicable throughout the 1 October - 31 October 2024 period.
The applicable HPE for three product categories are comprehensively outlined under the Appendix to Decree 1329/2024. The aforementioned agricultural and forestry products break down as follows: 1) Cacao Beans; 2) Timber (e.g. veneer, chipwood and processed wood); and 3) Leather (e.g. raw, preserved animal hides and skins and/or wet blues).
In addition to the above-outlined HPE, it should be noted that Decree 1329/2024 has set an applicable reference price for cacao beans of US$ 7.581, 49/MT.
