- The Minister of Industry has issued Regulation No. 40 of 2024 on the Machine and/or Equipment Restructuring Program for Food and Beverage Industries (collectively referred to as the “Restructuring Program”), which has been in force since 24 September 2024.
- The scope of arrangements set out under the Regulation encompasses the following matters: 1) Organization of the Restructuring Program; 2) The Restructuring Program Management Agency (Lembaga Pengelola Program Restrukturisasi/LPPR) and related technical team; 3) Monitoring and evaluations; 4) Reporting; and 5) Administrative sanctions.
- Partial reimbursements of the purchase prices of machinery and/or equipment will be available at the following maximum rates: 1) 35% of the purchase prices of domestically produced machinery and/or equipment, as covered by valid certification stating that said machinery and/or equipment has a legally acknowledged domestic component level of at least 25%; 2) 25% of the purchase prices of domestically produced machinery and/or equipment; or 3) 15% of the purchase prices of machinery and/or equipment that is not produced domestically. Said partial reimbursements of up to a maximum of Rp. 1 billion per recipient per budgetary year are now available.
