Guidelines Issued on the Management and Fulfilment of Adequate Professional Credit Units for Medical Personnel and Health Workers

The Minister of Health has issued Decree No. HK.01.07/MENKES/1561/2024 on Guidelines for the Management of the Fulfilment of Adequate Professional Credit Units for Medical Personnel and Health Workers (collectively referred to as "Guidelines"), which have been in force since 20 September 2024.
In essence, the Guidelines will now be utilized as a reference by medical and healthcare professionals, councils, colleges and work units and will function to improve the quality of medical and healthcare professionals, as well as institutions that organize accredited learning activities for medical and health professionals. Furthermore, the Guidelines cover a wide range of topics relating to quality improvements for medical and health professionals that span four chapters, including: 1) Fulfilment of professional credit units; and 2) Verification and validation of professional credit units.
