- The Minister of Manpower has issued Decree No. 237 of 2024 on the Stipulation of the Indonesian National Work Competency Standard for the Real Estate Category for the Real Estate Main Category Within the Property Trading Broker Sector, which has been in force since 12 September 2024.
- The Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia – "SKKNI") for the Real Estate Category for the Real Estate Main Category Within the Property Trading Broker Sector are set out under the Appendix to this Decree and will now serve as a reference during the drawing up of national qualification levels and the organization of education and training programs, as well as in relation to competence certification. It should be noted that the SKKNI will be subject to processes of review every five years or whenever such processes are deemed necessary.
- A total of 46 relevant competence units are outlined under the Appendix to the Decree, including: 1) Performance of prospective activities; 2) Provision of advice on legal/non-legal aspects relating to property transfers; 3) Handling of service user complaints; 4) Estimated indications of property sale/rental prices; 5) Property promotions; and so forth.
