DPO and DMO Stipulated for Cooking Oil

  • The Minister of Trade has issued Decree No. 1028 of 2024 on the Stipulation of the Highest Retail Price for Cooking Oil and the Domestic Market Obligation ("DMO") and Domestic Price Obligation ("DPO") for Cooking Oil, which has been in force since 14 August 2024.
  • The Decree stipulates the highest retail price for public cooking oil, as well as the DMO and DPO, as follows: 1) Highest retail price for public cooking oil: Rp. 15,700/liter; 2) DMO: 250,000 tons per month; 3) DPO in relation to the fulfillment of DMO, namely: a) MINYAKITA packaged cooking oil: maximum of Rp. 13,500/liter, including value-added tax (pajak pertambahan nilai – "PPN") through Line 1 distributors; b) MINYAKITA packaged cooking oil: maximum of Rp. 14,000/liter, including PPN through Line 2 distributors; and c) MINYAKITA packaged cooking oil through retailers: maximum of Rp. 14,500/liter, including PPN.
