BPOM Regulates Drugs Information Standards

The Head of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) has issued Decree No. 279 of 2024 on Drugs Information Standards, which has been in force since 26 July 2024.
The Decree stipulates various standards for drug-related information, which are comprehensively elaborated upon under the Appendix to the Decree. Said standards encompass: 1) General provisions and principles for the preparation of documents; 2) Affixation of information on characteristics to summaries on products/in brochures; and 3) Provision of product information to patients.
