Overview

According to the 2023 Rule of Law Index issued by the World Justice Project (WJP), Indonesia currently ranks 66^th out of 142 countries across the globe in terms of its overall global legal compliance ranking.[1] In this regard, Indonesia scored between 0.52 and 0.53 in the 2015 and 2023 global Rule of Law Index respectively. These scores indicate that no significant improvements have been made in terms of the nation’s legal development.[2]
