HPE for Mining Products Subject to Export Duty Stipulated for April 2024

  • The Minister of Trade ("Minister") has set new applicable Export Benchmark Prices (Harga Patokan Ekspor – "HPE") for mining products that are subject to export duty through the issuance of Decree No. 414 of 2024 ("Decree 414/2024"), which will be applicable from 1 April 2024 until 30 April 2024.
  • Decree 414/2024 outlines the applicable HPE for a total of 269 mining products, as comprehensively listed under the Appendix to Decree 414/2024, including the following products with prices that range from US$/WE 20.32 to US$/WE 5,455.57: 1) Copper concentrate; 2) Laterite iron concentrate; 3) Lead concentrate; and 4) Zinc concentrate.
