Export Prices for Calculations of Export Duty Set for April 2024

The Minister of Finance ("Minister") has issued Decree of the Minister No 12/KM.4/2024 ("Decree"), which determines various export prices which should be used to calculate export duty on certain commodities.
The applicable export prices for calculations of export duty on wood and leather now break down as follows: 1) Veneer of no thicker than 6mm (US$ 800/M³); 2) Wood in chip or particle form (US$ 85/ton); 3) Chipwood (US$ 95/ton); and 4) Processed woods (ranging from US$ 300/M³ to US$ 4000/M³). Meanwhile, the export price for calculations of export duty for cacao seed, as listed under Appendix B, has been set at US$ 6,711.
Furthermore, the Decree also establishes a comprehensive list of export prices for calculations of export duty for palm oil, crude palm oil (CPO) and their derivatives, as well as blended CPO products and their derivatives, which can be accessed through Appendix C to the Decree.
The above-mentioned export prices will be applicable from 1 April 2024 until 30 April 2024. However, the applicability of these prices will extend beyond this timeframe if new export prices have yet to be determined
