HMA for 20 Commodities and HBA for Four Commodities Issued for March 2024

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources has issued Decree No. 61.K/MB.01/MEM.B/2024 on Reference Prices for Metal Minerals and Reference Prices for Coal for March 2024, which has been in force since 20 March 2024.
As detailed under Appendix I to the Decree, the applicable Reference Prices for Metal Minerals (Harga Mineral Logam Acuan/HMA) have been stipulated for 20 types of metal mineral commodities and should be utilized as a reference during calculations of Metal Mineral Benchmark Prices (Harga Patokan Mineral Logam/HPM) for March 2024, including: 1) Nickel (US$16,021.67/DMT); 2) Cobalt (US$28,493.81/DMT); 3) Lead (US$2,111.60/DMT); 4) Zinc (US$2,433.21 DMT); 5) Aluminum (US$2,195.00/DMT); and so forth.
Meanwhile, the applicable Reference Prices for Coal (Harga Batubara Acuan/HBA) have been stipulated for four types of coal commodities under Appendix II to the Decree and should be utilized as a reference during calculations of Coal Benchmark Prices (Harga Patokan Batubara/HPB), including: 1) Coal (with 6,322 Gross as Received ["GAR"]): US$109.77/ton; 2) Coal I (with 5,300 GAR): US$88.77/ton; 3) Coal II (with 4,100 GAR): US$56.83/ton; and 4) Coal III (with 3,400 GAR): US$37.60/ton.
