HPE and Reference Prices for Agricultural and Forestry Products Stipulated for March 2024

The Minister of Trade has issued Decree No 198 of 2024 ("Decree 198/2024") on Export Benchmark Prices (Harga Patokan Ekspor – "HPE") and Reference Prices for Agricultural and Forestry Products Subject to Export Duty, which will be applicable during the 1 March - 31 March 2024 period.
Decree 198/2024 stipulates HPE for three categories of products, specifically: 1) Cacao Beans; 2) Timber; and 3) Leather. Meanwhile, a reference price for cacao beans of US$ 5,396.52/MT has now been set.
The HPE for the above-listed three product categories are summarized in the table below:
