BEI to Regulate on Securities Suspensions

PT Bursa Efek Indonesia ("BEI") has issued Circular No. SE-00003/BEI/02-2024 of 2024 on Implementing Provisions for Securities Suspensions, which has been in force since 1 March 2024.
Previously, BEI established provisions that specifically addressed securities suspensions by issuing Rule No. I-L ("Rule I-L") as the Appendix to Decree of the PT BEI Board of Directors No. KEP-00077/BEI/05-2023, which, among other areas, mandated that various matters set out under Rule I-L would be further clarified under a forthcoming BEI Circular.
Accordingly, the new Circular has further stipulated various criteria and conditions for the imposition of securities suspensions, as originally introduced under Rule I-L, including: 1) Disclosures of information; 2) Going concerns of listed companies; 3) Other underlying conditions relating to the imposition of securities suspensions; and 4) Revocations of securities suspensions.
