KSEI Enables Use of SRE for Storage and Transfer of Customer Funds

In order to incorporate Securities Sub-Accounts ("SRE") as an alternative for the storage and transfer of customer funds during securities transactions, the board of directors of PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia ("KSEI") has issued Decree No. KEP-0013/DIR/KSEI/0224 ("Decree 13/2024"), which has been in force since 12 February 2024.
The applicable procedures and mechanisms are outlined in a user guide, which has been included under the Decree and which is also available via the following official KSEI link: https://www.ksei.co.id/Download/KSEI_0248_Panduan_Transfer_Dana_SRE.PDF.
KSEI participants who act as securities brokerage intermediaries are required to adhere to relevant KSEI and local regulations regarding the use of SRE for the storage and transfer of customer funds.
