Updated SKKNI Introduced for Insurance Sector: 57 Competencies Now Available

The Minister of Manpower (“Minister”) recently issued Decree No. 12 of 2024 (“Decree 12/2024”) on the Stipulation of Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (Indonesian National Work Competency Standards – “SKKNI”) for the Financial and Insurance Activity Main Category of Insurance, Reinsurance and Pension Funds and Non-Mandatory Social Security Within the Insurance Sector Category (collectively referred to as “Insurance Sector”), which has been in force since 22 January 2024. Decree 12/2024 repeals and replaces the previous SKKNI standards for the above-listed sectors, as originally featured under the framework of Decree No. 23 of 2019 (“Decree 23/2019”), which bore the same title as Decree 12/2024.[1]
