December 2023 HPE for Agricultural and Forestry Products Issued

The Minister of Trade ("Minister") has issued Decree No. 1964 of 2023 ("Decree 1964/2023") on Reference Export Prices (Harga Patokan Ekspor - "HPE") and Reference Prices for Agricultural and Forestry Products Subject to Export Duty, which will be applicable during the 1 December 2023 - 31 December 2023 period.
Decree 1964/2023 stipulates HPE for three categories of products, specifically: 1) Cacao beans; 2) Timber; and 3) Leather. Meanwhile, a reference price for cacao beans of US$ 3.950,62/MT has now been set.
The HPE for the three categories of products are summarized in the table below:
