Implementing Arrangements for the Free Visit Visa and Visa on Arrival Issued

The Minister of Law and Human Rights (“Minister”) has issued Decree No. IMI-GR.01.01-0307 on the Implementation of the Free Visit Visa and Visa on Arrival (“Decree”) in accordance with Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. 22 of 2023 (“Regulation 22/2023”), which has been in force since 24 October 2023.
As a follow-up to the issuance of Decree of the Minister No. M.HH-04.GR.01.06 of 2023 (“Decree 04/2023”) on the List of Countries, Governments of Special Administrative Regions of Certain Countries and Certain Entities as Subjects of the Visa on Arrival; and Decree of the Minister No. M.HH-01.GR.01.07 of 2023 on the Temporary Suspension of the Free Visit Visa for Countries and Certain Entities, the Decree addresses certain matters, including a list of countries, governments of special administrative regions of certain countries and certain entities that can secure free Visit Visas, as set out under the Decree.
As originally mandated under Regulation 22/2023, the Minister has now stipulated two applicable legal frameworks, as set out under the Decree, specifically Decree 04/2023 and Decree No. M.HH-06.GR.01.01 of 2023 on the List of Immigration Checkpoints.
It should also be noted that as a result of the application and granting of the Visa on Arrival, as originally addressed under Regulation 22/2023, copies of e-VOA are required as evidence of Visit Visa Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP).
