Special Notation "X" to be Added and/or Deleted Based on BEI Announcements Commencing 12 June 2023

In an effort to improve protections for investors, the Board of Directors of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia ("BEI") has issued Circular No. SE-00006/BEI/05-2023 on the Addition of the Special Notation Information Display to Listed Company Codes ("Circular 6/2023"), which is set to come into force on 12 June 2023.
According to Circular 6/2023, special notations in the form of letters will be affixed after the codes of listed companies that experience certain conditions, meet certain criteria or possess certain characteristics. The letters in question are "B", "M", "E", "A", "D", "L", "S", "C", "Q", "Y", "F", "G", "V", "N", "K", "I" and "X". (1)
The special notations "N", "K", "I" and "X" should now be added and/or deleted based on BEI announcements. Previously, the now-repealed Circular of the Board of Directors of BEI No. SE-00014/BEI/12-2022 stated that the special notation "X" was to be added and/or deleted based on the results of a BEI evaluation of the criteria for equity-type securities under special monitoring.
