KPEI Reregulates Risk Parameters: Risk Charge for Futures Contracts for Groups of Government Bonds Set

The Board of Directors of PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (“KPEI”) has issued Circular No. SE-006/DIR/KPEI/0523 of 2023 on Risk Parameters (“Circular 6/2023”) as a follow-up to the following legal frameworks:[1]

1. Decree of the Board of Directors of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia No. Kep-00059/BEI/03-2023 on the Termination of Fixed Income Trading System (FITS) Operations That Facilitate the Trading of Debt Securities, Sukuk and Fixed-Cash-Flow Asset-Backed Securities Through the Exchange (“Decree 59/2023”)[2]; and
2. Decree of the Board of Directors of KPEI No. Kep-028/DIR/KPEI/0423 on the Revocation of Regulation of KPEI No. V-1 on Clearing and Settlement Guarantees for Debt Securities Transactions.
