Govt. Issues Guidelines for the Provision of Services for Ships Through INAPORTNET

The Minister of Transportation ("Minister") has issued Decree No. KM 37 of 2023 on Technical Guidelines for Services for Ships Through INAPORTNET and the Governance of INAPORTNET ("Decree 37/2023").
In general, the guidelines provided under Decree 37/2023 address the following activities: 1) Submission of access rights to INAPORTNET; 2) Ship entry and exit services; 3) Approvals for ship activities; 4) Extensions of docking periods; 5) Changes to docking areas; 6) Cancellation of services; and 7) Manual services in cases of system errors or emergencies.
In addition to the above-mentioned guidelines, Decree 37/2023 also features a number of general provisions on the service provision workflow, as well as provisions on the development of INAPORTNET.
It should also be noted that the guidelines provided under Decree 37/2023 apply to all ships with the following exceptions: 1) Warships; 2) State vessels that are operated for non-commercial activities; and 3) Yachts.
