Overview

As mandated under Regulation of the President No. 9 of 2013 on the Organization of Upstream Oil-and-Gas Business Activities Management, as amended by Regulation of the President No. 36 of 2018 (collectively referred to as “Regulation 9/2013”)^[1] and also Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“Minister”) No. 2 of 2022 (“Regulation 2/2022”) on the Organization of and Working Procedures for the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas (“SKK Migas”), all upstream oil-and-gas business activities (“Activities”) should be organized by SKK Migas.^[2]
