Overview

As a part of an ongoing project to relocate the capital city of Indonesia from Greater Jakarta to Greater Nusantara, the government has issued various regulatory frameworks in order to implement and accelerate this huge project. Among the legal frameworks that have been issued, the government has also regulated funding for the preparation and development of the new city, as well as for the relocation of the Indonesian capital to Greater Nusantara. The various provisions that address said funding are regulated under Law No. 3 of 2022 on the National Capital (“Law 3/2022”).
