Govt. Sets Guidelines for B35 Mixing

The Director-General for New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation ("Director-General") recently issued Decree No. 3.K/EK.05/DJE/2023, which sets guidelines for the implementation of biodiesel mixing for diesel oil fuel at a ratio of 35% ("B35").
Said fuel mixing should be carried out by diesel oil fuel business actors from 1 - 21 February 2023 in line with the following requirements: 1) B30 mixing should be carried out if any remaining available stocks of B100 fulfill the standards and specifications set under Appendix II to this Decree, as well as if any available stocks of B100 fulfill the standards set under Decree of the Director-General No. 195.K/EK.05/DJE/2022 ("Decree 195/2022"); or 2) B35 mixing should be carried out if the business actors in question have received stocks of B100 that fulfill the criteria and standards set out under Decree 195/2022 and no longer have any stocks of B100 that conform to the standards set out under Appendix II to this Decree.
This Decree has been in force since 11 January 2023.
