Overview

As specifically addressed in the previous edition of Indonesian Law Digest, which was titled “Indonesian Business: Through the 2022 Regulatory Kaleidoscope”, many regulations were issued throughout the course of 2022 as a gateway towards transition and development, not only through the penetration of the economy into various business- and government-related activities but through various efforts aimed at achieving the greater good of the nation. For example, various regulations have been issued in an effort to accommodate multi-sectoral goals relating to the achievement of Indonesia’s targets in terms of its Nationally Determined Contributions. Moreover, various regulatory initiatives have also been introduced to realize a safer and more orderly sense of community within Indonesia.
