Overview

The year 2022 has been a rather eventful one for the issuance of regulations in Indonesia due to the transition back to normality in the wake of the Covid 19 pandemic that has battered the globe since late 2019 and given that the country is looking towards future developments. Indonesia has been looking forward to many changes this year, which include but are not limited to the penetration of the economy into various business-related and governmental activities, a multi-sectoral effort aimed at achieving Indonesia’s targets in relation to its Nationally Determined Contributions (“NDC”), as well as efforts to create a safer and more orderly community within Indonesia. In order to accommodate these developments, the government has made a contribution through the issuance of various regulations across different sectors.
