The Director-General of Customs and Excise (“Director-General”) has updated provisions on the governance of quota cuts for imported goods that enjoy free or discounted import duty facilities through the issuance of Regulation No. PER-10/BC/2022 (“Regulation 10/2022”). As such, Regulation of the Director-General No. PER-28/BC/2018 (“Regulation 28/2018”), as the previous legal framework that addressed this issue, has now been repealed and replaced.
