Governor Extends Level-1 PPKM for DKI Jakarta until 21 November 2022

The Governor of DKI Jakarta has issued Decree No. 1109 of 2022 ("Decree 1109/2022") as a follow-up to the Level-1 Community Activity Restrictions Enforcement (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat – "PPKM") across Java and Bali that was recently extended through the issuance of Directive of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 47 of 2022 ("Directive 47/2022").
In essence, the Level-1 PPKM will remain in force across the DKI Jakarta area for a period of 14 days from 8 November 2022 – 21 November 2022.
Broadly speaking, the activity restrictions that now apply across DKI Jakarta are similar to those that are originally set out under Directive 47/2022, as summarized in the following edition of Daily Updates: “Level-1 PPKM Across Java and Bali Re-extended Until 21 November 2022”.
