- As a follow-up to the issuance of Circular of the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK) No. 10/SEOJK.04/2022, which set various revised values in relation to Guarantee Fund Contributions ("Contributions"), PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia ("KPEI") has decided to revise the amounts of said Contributions for clearing members through the issuance of the latest version of Rule II-9 ("Rule II-9") as the Appendix to Decree of the Board of Directors of PT KPEI No. KEP-021/DIR/KPEI/0922 ("Decree 21/2022").
- In essence, clearing members are required to pay Contributions for all structured warrant transactions at a rate of 0.01% of the value of each structured warrant transaction. Previously, a rate of only 0.001% was set for contributions from clearing members.
- Furthermore, clearing members must also pay Contributions for each stock-exchange transaction that involves due structured warrants at a rate of 0.003% of the issuance value of the relevant structured warrants. Previously, this Contribution was required to be made at the time of issuance of each structured warrant.
- In the addition to the above Contributions, an incentive for clearing-and-settlement guarantees for stock-exchange transactions involving structured warrants will be granted in the form of maintenance fee exemptions. Said incentives will apply to maintenance fee bills until 30 June 2024.
- Decree 21/2022 has been in force since 12 September 2022.
