Guidelines for the Limitation on Initial Applications for the Provision of Excise Bands for Tobacco Products and Alcoholic Beverages Introduced

As a follow-up to the issuance of Regulation No. PER-5/BC/2022, the Director-General of Customs and Excise (“Director-General”) has issued Circular No. SE-10/BC/2022 on Guidelines for the Limitation on Initial Applications for the Provision of Excise Bands for Tobacco Products and Alcoholic Beverages (“Circular 10/2022”) in order to optimize the implementation of risk management in relation to the limitations regarding initial applications for the provision of excise bands for tobacco products and alcoholic beverages, as submitted by factories that produce these products (“Factories”).[1]
