PT KPEI Introduces Exemptions to Imposition of Third-Party Repo Facility Utilization Fee

In an effort to support the utilization of third-party repo facilities and to meet the interests of said facility participants during transactions, PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (“KPEI”) has now decided to offer exemptions to the imposition of third-party repo facility utilization fees through the issuance of Decree of the Board of Directors of PT KPEI No. KEP-007/DIR/KPEI/0322 on the Implementation of Exemptions to Third-Party Repo Facility Utilization Fee Policies (“Decree 7/2022”).
Third-party repo facility utilization fee exemptions will now be granted in accordance with provisions originally set out under Rule X-2, which can be found under the Appendix to Decree of the Board of Directors of PT KPEI No. KEP-032/DIR/KPEI/0219 (“Rule X-2”). Other provisions which were not specifically addressed under Rule X-2 relating to third-party repo facility utilization fee exemptions will also now be considered valid and binding upon third-party repo participants.
Decree 7/2022 will remain in force between 24 March 2022 and 31 December 2022.
