New Premium Gas Price Set at Rp. 4,500 per Liter

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources recently issued Decree No. 82.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 on the Sales Price for Gas Fuel Used for Transportation Purposes. The Decree states that the sales price for gas fuel at gas stations has now been set at Rp. 4,500.00 per liter for Premium, inclusive of the applicable taxes.
The Rp. 4,500.00 per liter price for Premium will also apply to gas fuel in the form of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) that is used by motor vehicles for transportation purposes. The implementation of the new price will be subject to monitoring and supervision implemented by the Director-General of Oil and Gas and will apply from 1 May 2022.
