- The Minister of Manpower has issued Decree No. 23 of 2022 on the Stipulation of the Indonesian National Standard for Work Competencies (Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia – "SKKNI") for the Category of Information and Communication under the Main Classification of Programming Activities, Computer Consulting and Other Related Activities Within the Cyber-Security Testing Sector ("Decree 23/2022").
- The aforementioned SKKNI is aimed toward the implementation of five main functions, specifically: 1) The formulation of procedures relating to cyber-security testing; 2) The preparation of requirements for cyber-security testing; 3) The gathering of relevant information under the scope of cyber-security testing; 4) The verification of cyber security; and 5) The presentation of reports on the results of cyber-security testing.
- Furthermore, there are a total of 10 SKKNI competence units that address the following specific areas: 1) Procedural planning for cyber-security testing; 2) Determination of methods for vulnerability testing; 3) Determination of the scope of cyber-security testing; 4) Appointment of teams that will implement cyber-security testing; 5) Information gathering for cyber-security testing; 6) Determination of vulnerability rates based on the scope of cyber-security testing; 7) Testing of the vulnerabilities of tested objects; 8) Conducting of post-exploitation activities based on the scope of cyber-security testing; 9) Compiling of the findings of cyber-security testing; and 10) Drafting of reports on the results of cyber-security testing.
- Decree 23/2022 came into force on 14 March 2022.
