In an attempt to ensure adequate protection and management of the environment, all businesses and/or activities (collectively referred to as “Activities”) that produce wastewater are required to manage their wastewater prior to releasing it into the environment. In line with this requirement, in order to reduce the water pollutant load and ultimately prevent water pollution, the constructed wetland method can be used.[1]
Constructed wetlands are defined as ecosystems that are specifically designed in order to optimize polluted water purifiers through the optimization of physical and biochemical processes that involve plants, microbes and waterlogged soil (tanah tergenang air).[2] The availability of constructed wetlands themselves may have an impact on the surrounding environment, including increasing certain populations of flora or fauna.[3]
