Service Posts to Be Established to Enforce Health Protocols and Monitor the Mobility of Domestic Travel

  • The Task Force for the Mitigation of COVID-19 ("Task Force") recently issued Circular No. 16 of 2022 on Health Protocols for Personal Domestic Travel During the COVID-19 Pandemic ("Circular"), which reaffirms the implementation of the health protocols that were originally set out the previously applicable regulation.
  • The Circular also states that individual travelers who have already received booster vaccinations are not required to present the negative results of RT-PCR tests or rapid antigen tests.
  • In addition, the newly promulgated Circular mandates for the establishment of official service posts within certain areas in order to ensure compliance with the health protocols, as well as to supervise public mobility. Said service posts will be jointly managed by local Task Forces, the Pamong Praja Police Department, the Department of Transportation, as well as the National Police Force and Army.
  • The Circular has been in force since 2 April 2022. (SETKAB)
