Bappebti Updates Provisions on Transmission of Customer Orders to Overseas Futures Exchanges

The Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi – “Bappebti”) has issued Regulation No. 1 of 2022 on the Organization of Futures Trading for the Transmission of Customer Orders to Overseas Futures Exchanges (“Regulation 1/2022”), which updates the requirements and procedures for the transmission of customer orders to overseas futures exchanges (“Transmission”).[1] As an update, Regulation 1/2022 repeals and replaces Regulation of the Head of the Bappebti No. 82/BAPPEBTI/PER/04/2010 (“Regulation 82/2010”), which addressed similar matters.[2]
