Overview

As addressed in the previous edition of Indonesian Law Digest, which was titled “Indonesian Business: Through the 2021 Regulatory Kaleidoscope”, many regulations were issued throughout the course of 2021 as a part of efforts aimed at achieving a national economic recovery against a backdrop of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In this regard, the Indonesian Government has introduced a number of different legal frameworks that are aiming to maintain a balance between preventing the spread of COVID-19 while enabling businesses to operate across various sectors of the economy in a sustainable fashion.
