Govt. Merges Provisions on Technical Inspections, Safety Checks and Equipment for Oil-and-Gas Business Activities

In a bid to ensure the safety, security and reliability of all oil-and-gas installations and equipment used during operations, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“Minister”) recently issued Regulation No. 32 of 2021 (“Regulation 32/2021”) on Technical Inspections and Safety Checks of Installations and Equipment Used During Oil-and-Gas Business Activities (“Technical Inspections, Safety Checks and Used Equipment”).[1] The introduction of Regulation 32/2021 has resulted in the integration of the following regulations, which have now been repealed and replaced:[2]
