Data Reference and Information for the Establishment of Single Investor Identification Based on Investor Types Updated

In order to improve the validation and quality of data for the Single Investor Identification (“SID”) holders which are registered within PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (“KSEI”), the Board of Director of KSEI has recently issued the Circular No. SE-0004/DIR-EKS/KSEI/1021 on Data Reference and Information for the Establishment of Single Investor Identification Based on Investor Type (“Circular 1021/2021”) and simultaneously repeals the previous Circular of Board of Directors of KSEI No. SE-0001/DIR-EKS/KSEI/1118 which bore the same title.
Pursuant to Circular 1021/2021, an applicant for the SID is now required to fulfill the following requirements: 1) Submit the data and/or information of the prospective SID holder candidate with reference to the documents listed on the new SID Administration Guideline; 2) Update the data of SID holder if there is any discrepancy between the SID holder data which are registered within KSEI and the data and/or information reference; and 3) Administer the reference documents and submitted to the KSEI in accordance to the applied procedure.
Circular 1021/2021 has been in force since 15 October 2021.
