Govt. Introduces New Regulation on Intellectual Property Consultants

In response to various developments relating to intellectual property consultants and in an attempt to ensure an effective implementation and an improved system for the supervision of said consultants, the Indonesian Government issued Regulation of the Government No. 100 of 2021 on Intellectual Property Consultants (“Regulation 100/2021”). Regulation 100/2021 has now merged and updated provisions that were previously addressed under the following two now-repealed legal frameworks (hereafter collectively referred to as “Previous Regulations”):[1]
