Govt. Completes Six Drafts of Implementing Regulations to Job Creation Law for the Land and Spatial Planning Sector

  • In line with the mandate set out under Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation, which states that all of the necessary implementing regulations for the new framework must be promulgated by 2 February 2021, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency recently completed work on the drafts of six implementing regulations required within the land and spatial planning sector.
  • Five of these comprise Draft Regulations of the Government (Rancangan Peraturan Pemerintah – “RPP”) on the Organization of Spatial Planning, RPP on Land Procurement in the Public Interest, RPP on the Right to Manage and Land Rights, RPP on the Land Bank and RPP on Abandoned Areas and Lands. Meanwhile, the remaining RPP addresses the organs of the Land Bank.
  • All drafts are accessible via the following official website: www.uu-ciptakerja.go.id and are expected to be signed off on by the President by the end of this month.
