Biodiesel Market-Index Price for July 2020 Increased

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources recently determined the July 2020 market-index price (harga indeks pasar – “HIP”) for biofuel in the form of biodiesel at IDR 7,321/liter. This marks an increase over the HIP for June 2020, which was set at IDR 6,941/liter.
This increase in the HIP for biodiesel is the result of an increase in the average Crude Palm Oil (“CPO”) Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama (“KPB”) price, from IDR 6,773/kg to IDR 7,272/kg.
The HIP for biodiesel is calculated through the application of the following formula: (average CPO KPB + 100 USD/ton) x 870 kg/m³ + delivery fees. _(esdm.go.id)
