Govt. Introduces New Procedure for B3 Waste Characteristics Testing

The Minister of Environment and Forestry (“Minister”) has issued Regulation No. P.10/MENLHK/SETJEN/PLB.3/4/2020 on Procedures for Characteristics Testing and Status Determinations for Hazardous and Toxic Material Waste (“Regulation 10/2020”), which represents an implementation of various provisions initially set out under Regulation of the Government No. 101 of 2014 on the Management of Toxic and Hazardous Waste Substances (“Regulation 101/2014”) and which sets out an updated set of procedures for the implementation of characteristics testing and status determinations for Hazardous and Toxic Material Waste (“B3 Waste”).[1]
