OJK Urged to Create Financing Instruments Aimed at the Improvement of Human Resources

Indonesia’s Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani, issued a statement recently claiming that the government would continue to provide incentives to private sector players who were actively involved in developing the quality and competitiveness of Indonesia’s human resources.
The government has previously introduced a tax incentive in the forms of a super deduction (double or triple) for private sector players which engage in vocational education, particularly players who are involved in innovation and research relating to the improvement of the country’s human resources.
Mulyani is encouraging the Financial Services Authority (“OJK”) and other stakeholders operating within the capital-market sector to create solid and profitable financing instruments which able to attract the general public to invest in human-resources quality improvement programs. kemenkeu.go.id
