Govt. Merges Technical Requirements for Equipment/Devices for Television and Radio Broadcasting

In an effort to improve the quality of the various kinds of devices which are used in order to offer broadcasting services, the Minister of Communication and Informatics (“Minister”) recently issued No. 4 of 2019 on Technical Requirements for Telecommunications Equipment and/or Devices for the Organization of Television and Radio Broadcasting (“Regulation 4/2019”).[1]

Prior to the issuance of Regulation 4/2019, these matters were previously addressed under the following frameworks, which havenow been repealed and replaced through the issuance of Regulation 4/2019:[2]
