Traffic Control on the Jakarta - Cikampek Toll Road

The Ministry of Transportation (“Ministry”) has issued Ministry Regulation No. 18 of 2018 on Traffic Control During Construction of Nationally Strategic Infrastructure Projects along the Jakarta – Cikampek Toll Road (“Regulation 18/2018”) with the ultimate objective of reducing traffic congestion along the Jakarta – Cikampek Toll Road (“Toll Road”) during peak hours specifically.
 
Regulation 18/2018 specifically addresses two traffic-control methods which are to be implemented along the Toll Road during the construction of nationally strategic infrastructure projects (i.e., construction on the Elevated Jakarta – Cikampek Toll Road project, construction of the Jakarta – Bandung express railway line and construction of the Light Rapid Transit project), specifically:[1]
