Jakarta Government: Fifty Percent Discount on Advertisement Tax

The Governor of the Special Capital of Jakarta (“Governor”) has issued Regulation No. 172 of 2014 on Granting Tax Base Reductions for Advertisement Tax (“172/2014 Regulation”).

The 172/2014 Regulation provides special tax concessions for advertisers of products or services that use Light Emitting Diodes (LED) panels; stickers; flyers; moving vehicles; aerial and floating advertisements; audio advertisements; films/slides in movie theaters; and demonstration advertisements.[1]
