Organization and Work Procedures for the Forest Development Financing Center

In order to facilitate the revitalization of the forest sector while providing direction in the development of plantation forest to ensure improvements in environment quality and assistance to the low-income communities' resident in and around forest areas and satisfying the growing demands of the wood industry, the Minister of Forestry has issued Regulation No. P.31/Menhut-II/2007.

The primary function of the Forest Development Financing Center is to manage finances that are to be channeled into the development of plantation forests. The Center is responsible in a structural sense to the Minister. However, in a technical sense the Center is to be guided by the Director General of Forest Production and in an administrative sense it is to be guided by the Secretariat General.
